Board of Directors

Jennifer Diener, President of the Board

I was born in Massachusetts and was raised there and in upstate New York. After getting my BA and MBA from Harvard University, I moved to Los Angeles where I had a fifteen year career with the world’s largest international hospital company as senior vice president of marketing and communications. For the last 25 years, I have been fortunate to be able to volunteer for a number of cultural and educational non-profit organizations. Thirty years ago I discovered yoga, and found my way to Iyengar Yoga 10 years ago. I respect the Iyengar approach and am honored to have been asked to participate on the Board of Directors of IYALA.

Becky graduated from the Iyengar Yoga teacher training program at IYILA and is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher. She has been a student of Iyengar Yoga since 2005, and travelled to Pune in 2014 for the Yoganusasanam intensive with Geeta Iyengar. She started volunteering at the Institute in LA as a registrar in 2010 and has been an active volunteer ever since. Becky has over 15 years experience as a textile designer in the fashion industry and is currently the CAD Design Manager for Juicy Couture.

Don started his Iyengar Yoga journey in early 2012 at LyfeYoga in Hermosa Beach. While traveling to India on business later that year, Don had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Iyengar Institute in Pune. Originally from Ohio, Don currently resides in Costa Mesa, CA.
